This Saturday it looks like Langley Mill is the place to be with two great charity events, both featuring TV Celebrities. The first is at Langley Mill Miners Welfare where there’ll be a FUN DAY & FUN DOG SHOW in aid of Angels Animal Rescue. The fun starts at 10:00am and goes on until 5:00pm with the show being opened by Tim Fox of Channel 5's Eddie Stobart Trucks & Trailers.
The dog show includes Lots of fun categories including best fancy dress & best trick, and there will be a FREE Bouncy Castle plus Over 20 Stalls, including an Ice Cream Van, Pony Rides, Furries Rescue, Pet Photographer, Karaoke & Disco Tombolas, Stocks, Live Music, food and a bar. Come meet Dobby the Meerkat & Pepe the Skunk. Plus lots more! A great day out for all the family!
Then you can pop over the road to join in the fun at the Opening Day Celebrations at MK Auto Repair & Restoration Ltd, which is at the top of North Street on Coppice Side Venture Park, with all proceeds going to the Alzheimers Society. The fun starts at 10 there too, and you’ll find Bernie Fineman from Channel 5's 'Classic Car Rescue' there to open the event. As well as a champagne reception you’ll be able to look around the restoration of a 1985 Mini Mayfair plus lots of other classic car restorations to have a look at, as well as a classic car slideshow, refreshments, a charity raffle with some great prizes and an auction as well. If you own a classic car, why not bring it along to show off too – the more cars the better. And as we said, all proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimers Society.
