These days most of us use our phones to take snapshots, and high-tech cameras are getting cheaper and cheaper, but do you know how to take a really good picture, one that captures the moment, reflects the light and frames the subject perfectly?
Whether you want to earn money from your photography, or just want to get more out of your hobby, professional photographer Glyn Round might just be the man to help you.
With over 50 year's (yes that's right - 50 years!) experience of photography, local man Glyn runs informal, accessible courses for everybody and anybody that wants to improve their skills.
Typically courses are run at local nature spots around the local area, include up to 4 people and last a minimum of 3 hours, with at least three quarters of an hour each of individual tuition. These low-cost courses cost just £15 each.
Alternatively Glyn also runs full day courses in the Peak District (food and drink not included). These courses cost between £30 and £45 each, depending on the location. This option also includes a FREE print of your best image from the day.
All courses are run with groups of similar ability together in order that you get the most from the day and Glyn takes special care when choosing the locations. Transport costs to and from the location, if applicable, are usually shared.
Advice and help after the courses is completely free, and Glyn also offers a huge amount of help through his website at www.MD-Studios.co.uk. He's also available for photo shoots and offers printing, mounting and framing services as well.
For more information, contact Glyn on Courses@MD-Studios.co.uk or see him at the Heanor Community Fair on 5th May 2012.
