Due to problems with visibility and safety, Derbyshire County Council have announced that they will be adding short lengths of double yellow lines to certain areas of the B6179 Nottingham Road in Ripley.
They state that motorists have been parking too close to the junctions along the road, so will be adding the restrictions in the New Year.
If you normally park on Nottingham Road, please be careful of the new rules and don't get caught with a penalty notice to start off your 2013.
