Congratulations to Mr Lloyd Sweet, of Gladstone Street, who has been chosen as the winner of the Heanor Traders Association's Best Dressed Jubilee House.
Simon Minto, Chair of the HTA, and Association Member Angie Painter from Highlife Bespoke Kitchens and Bedrooms were pleased to present Mr Sweet and his daughter Shannon with this fantastic prize hamper, put together by Frosts of Heanor.
The competition was run by the Traders Association as a way of getting involved in the community and celebrating the Jubilee. All of the Association Members contributed to the cost of the prize hamper as well as putting up their own bunting and decorations in a joint show of support for our Queen's longevity.
This is just another example of the way that Heanor's business community is coming together to try to revive the High Street from within. The Traders Association has recenly been successful in winning the tender to take over the running of the town's market, and is currently finalising the details with the Council before taking over control in the coming weeks.
