Sue Ryder Care-Nettlebed Hospice near Henley-on-Thames offers specialist palliative care to people with life-limiting illnesses from South Oxfordshire, Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. The hospice provides an in-patient and out-patient unit, Day Care and community based services.
Sue Ryder Care provides care for the whole of a persons needs, be they physical, medical, social, spiritual or psychological. Expert doctors, nurses, complementary therapists, family support councellors, physiotherapists and occupational therapists all wotk together as one team to understand and support the different needs of a patient.
It costs over £2 million to provide such vital care at Sue Ryder Care- Nettlebed Hospice, over half of which must be raised through voluntary donations. One of the best ways of helping Sue Ryder Care is to offer a monthly donation by calling 01491 641070.
The local fundraising team holds a number of events throughout the year, and the incredibly successful sales of high quality, donated goods take place every three weeks at the hospice. Donated goods can be left at Sue Ryder Care- Nettlebed Hospice anytime, excluding the day of the sale or the day before.
