Sue Ryder has renamed the month of February, to Febru-Hairy and are encouraging the local community to take part in a hairy fundraiser for a day, or for the whiole month of February to raise money for the Sue Ryder - Nettlebed Hospice.
If you would like to join in with Sue Ryder ‘Febru-Hairy’ contact Vicki Collins during January 2011 to discuss some hairy fundraising ideas. All money raised during February 2011 will help Sue Ryder – Nettlebed Hospice continue providing compassionate support to help people live through the challenges of long-term and life-threatening illnesses such as MS and Cancer. We need to raise £1.4 million in voluntary income each year to provide our care where we look after people in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
We would like to wish bestofhenleyonthames members Reg Harris, Andy Clarke & David Bowles from Southern Plant & Tool Hire Ltd good luck. They are both going to grow their hair, tache's and beards for 'Febru-Hairy' in aid of Sue Ryder - Nettlebed Hospice.
