HowTheLightGetsIn, the world’s largest philosophy and music festival, is back. Join us as we question the frontiers of knowledge with our theme Errors, Lies and Adventure.
Held at the Globe at Hay, the festival is now in its fifth year, and is bigger and better than ever. With hundreds of speakers and live music acts, the festival has something to offer everyone. Take part in discussions and debates with the world’s leading philosophers, scientists, and writers, before indulging yourself at one of our luxury food stalls, or listen to great live music and comedy from our performers.
Our first debates for 2013 have just been released, and Earlybird tickets are now on sale! Terry Pratchett will debate the role of myths and fantasies with A.S. Byatt and Terry Eagleton, Oliver James, Frank Furedi and Richard Bentall examine 'Mind, Madness and Power' and former Metropolitan Police Commissioner Ian Blair considers modern heroism with philosophers Susan Neiman and Angie Hobbs.
Whether you’ve been before or have only just heard of the festival, book your tickets now for HowTheLightGetsIn 2013!
