Almost everyone at some point in their lives has been touched by cancer, it's an awful reality but one that cancer research is striving to conquer.
The Race for Life team and Sunshine Radio were out today at the Old Market, building awareness for this years Race for Life.
They were painting the town pink and asking shops to get involved in getting the word out. They had their pink war stripes on their face, championing this years slogan 'Hell hath no fury like a woman in pink'.
You can walk, run, skip, or strut this all female event, taking place at hereford racecourse on the 14th June. This year they are hoping to beat last years total and raise over £80,000.
