Well where to start...
Here in beautiful Hereford there is lots to see and do over this weekend from rock and jazz bands and car boot sales, the Comedy Club at the Courtyard to the Ross on Wye Cider and Beer Festival all the way to the Hereford River Carnival.
Theres events for the adults amongst us and even family days out with the kids being held all over, so if your not busy I recommend that you come along to some and see for yourself.
So lets start on friday. We have 'Are you curious about Hereford' a trail around the city with two self guided mapped routes to follow on a historical treasure hunt following clues and pictures whilst learning and taking in everything Hereford has to offer.
Also on Friday night Hereford's very own Courtyard Theatre, who are featuring the bi monthly Court laughing Comedy club featuring some of the best up and comming names in the comedy world, and to top it all off theres a curry supper too!
On Saturday we have the Hereford River Carnival! A real gem over the weekend. It is a festival that brings culture, the Herefordshire countryside and the River Wye together. the day long event will host live music and stalls as well as the river carnival its self and an appearance from the Wye Trow - The Hereford Bull, wich took part in the Queen's diamond jubilee Thames pagent.
In the evening Credenhill Social club has the pleasure in hoasting a hog roast and brilliant local band - Whisky River! Well worth a watch and in a relaxed and friendly venue too! The band has a great following and Credenhill social club a really lovely venue. The band is a Jazz, Rock, Soul, Pop and Cajun blues not to missed.
All in all theres something for everyone, so go on out and have a great bank holiday!
