Good facilities and lots of different animals to see but potentially quite an expensive day out. Look out for discounts, vouchers and deals as a family of four at full price would be something like £60. Also a small fortune can be spent on food and kids rides once you're inside. Really good day out though.

A well presented and enjoyable wildlife park. However, they charge for parking on to of your entry fee, you also have to cough up more money to do many of the activities inside. We feltt this was misleading.

What a great day out, our reason for visiting was to see the big cats and we were not disappointed. But the rest of the zoo is not to be missed, we intended to stay a couple of hours and ended up there for 5 hours. Highlight of the day was seeing the white tiger being hand fed and the keepers giving us a running commentary as to what they were doing.

How many times have you been to the zoo only for the animals to stay hidden ?? Must have been our lucky day because although cold wet and foggy the big cats certainly were there to be seen. Tigers, lions cheetah, panther, snow leopard all were on best behaviour and happy to pose for the camera. Although relatively small compared with other zoos there was a nice mix of animals and we had a really good time. Took around three hours to see everything although I'm sure if it were warmer we would have spent more time. Liked this place and hope to return in the summer.

I was lucky enough to have the absolute pleasure of visiting this wonderful little park and I was bought the the "shadow a keeper" experience as a very special gift.

I can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences of my life. I went with my partner and daughter.

We spent two days at the park. The first day we were welcomed with a happy smile and a friendly greeting along with tea/coffee and biscuits by the lovely Margaret. Whilst munching and sipping, we watched a short film about the history of the park and to give us a tease of what we had in store! Margaret made us feel immediately like VIPs. We wandered around the park which is small but being winter the animals were all active. The size is by no means a negative though as the quality of the care and love these animals are getting is second to none - we experienced that first hand. This is a place where the animals are all either rescued or endangered and part of a breeding programme.

The park was very quiet, being December so we felt like we had it all to ourselves! It turned out to be a very good time to visit. There are activities for children, a shop, a lovely miniature golf course and various stalls around the zoo. You can also purchase special food which you can use to feed some of the animals with.

We spent the night on site in a lovely chalet. This was better than most hotels I have stayed in and the shower was the best I have ever used!

On the second day we had more tea and biscuits before beginning our Shadow a Big Cat Keeper experience. We met keeper Tony who was just wonderful. He is passionate, knowledgable and totally dedicated to his work and the animals. We helped with the enrichment of the big cats providing their toys and watching them play with them. We went into their enclosures and cleaned them out and were treated to five hours of extensive knowledge about the big cats as well as other animals around the zoo.

We were then allowed to feed them! We began with the lions and also fed the tigers, snow leopards and the ocelot. This was all absolutely magical and I can't recommend it highly enough. We also learnt a lot about conservation, breeding programmes and the behaviour of the big cats. We also got to see a training session of the white tiger. The keepers use only positive reinforcement and have been able to train the tiger to show his teeth and mouth for inspection, accept injections and present his belly for examination on demand and without a keeper needing to enter the enclosure or administer and sedative. The keepers have a wonderful and mutually respectful relationship with the cats.

Health and safety for both humans and cats was paramount at all times and we were closely monitored to ensure that this was adhered to at all times.

There is also a lovely bright restaurant which sells a huge variety of goodies and drinks by happy staff. Being December there was very tasteful Christmas music playing and lovely decorations.

I will never forget this experience - all made extra special by the happiness of the wonderful staff at Paradise Park. Tony could not have made more effort to make our experience the best possible.

Thank you, thank you, thank you :-)

This park deserves all the support it can get.

Had a really enjoyable afternoon at Paradise wildlife park. Tea with the Tigers which involved a walking tour of the big cats with a guide before having afternoon tea in the Tiger top cafe. The guide, Ian, was fantastic, really informative and the tea was lovely

Had booked this experience for my husbands birthday present and just got round to doing it. Got to the park early so we could look round at all the animals. Being December freezing and foggy we thought that we wouldn't see any animals but we were pleasantly surprised. We met our guide Steve at 1.15,he took us over to the feeding room and showed us the meat they give the animals before asking my husband which big cat he'd like to feed. He chose Bakail a 5 yr old white tiger who was beautiful and huge, Steve showed my husband how to hold the meat and where to stand, safety was always top priority. Steve was very knowledgeable and very friendly all through the time we were there. Definitely a day to remember.

Absolutely brilliant day, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the day, especially feeding rocky the Tiger, an experience made even better by Lynn, one of the big cat staff. Her obvious love for the animals and insight into the everyday running of the cats and wolves made a fantastic day even better. All the staff were cheerful and helpful, we plan to return soon.

This was our 3rd visit to the Park. This time to Meet the Red Pandas and to Feed a Big Cat. Our day started off really well when we were very lucky to meet Giles Clark who was kind enough to chat and pose for photos. Our pre booked experiences were amazing and we loved every minute. Highly recommended.
A massive thank you to everyone involved in making our day special.
And to Baikal the white tiger, Jessie the snow leopard and Tilly and Teajmunn, the red Pandas for being so cooperative 😀x

My daughter and I stayed overnight on the park this weekend and it was amazing. The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped. We woke up to the chatter of some of the birds and animals but the best thing was the white lion roaring just before we left to go to breakfast with the big cats. We had a very enjoyable time watching the different wild cats and listening to the commentary. After breakfast we decided to have a walk around the wildlife park. We tried to go to all the talks, displays and shows (which we found very informative) Special mention to Claire and her birds. The day was finished off by watching the white tiger being fed. There is plenty to do at this attraction. I have been to other wildlife parks and I would say that this ranks as one of the best. This experience was an awesome 60th birthday present.

I had a voucher to shadow a big cat keeper with a friend and what an amazing day we had.. the park was lovely and clean with lovely facilities for food. The Keeper, Steve, who we shadowed was brilliant - so knowledgeable and engaging. It was clear he loves his job and the cats - they respond to his voice. To get up close and personal with some of these beautiful animals was amazing. Would definitely go back for another visit.

We live locally and visited for the second time with some friends. Paradise wildlife park is well laid out and the staff are very pleasant. The animals all seem happy and well cared for. The viewing areas are organised in such a way that you can get very close to the animals.

My wife is a huge animal lover and has a soft spot for big cats. Whilst never going to be a fan of seeing animals caged, we are accepting the role of zoo's for education, conservation and breeding programmes.

This was a marvellous opportunity to get up close with tigers alongside an experienced member of the team (Lynn - thanks so much) who provided a wealth of information and background on the animals and their welfare. Somewhat nerve racking being so close to those huge jaws and paws but we still have all our fingers and now we have some wonderful memories.

Thank you to Lynn and all the team at Paradise Wildlife Park.

I do not approve of zoos etc, why keep animals in captivity for us to gawk at? However, a lot of the animals here are conservation, and the keepers genuinely care, so it's hard not to like it.

I came here recently with my fiancé for a big cat feeding we'd been bought as a present, and had such an amazing day.
The park is spread out well, but not so far that your feet hurt by the end of it. There's so much to see and do, and a great selection of animals to see and learn about.
Our feeding of the white lions was amazing, and the keeper 'Cassie' who we accompanied was so friendly and knowledgable it's clear that the staff here really love the animals.
The park is open all year, and we were told the animals are actually more active now than when they're basking in the summer sun, so I'd highly recommend this as an autumn/winter visit. Wrap up warm and take advantage of the park being quieter to have a truly wonderful day out with the animals!

We had the privilege of a magic tour which was beyond anything we could imagine. whole day was superb from being greeted to getting into our car exhausted but happy at the end of the day.
Our family of 3 fed meerkats, a camel called Bash, we got up close to my daughter's fav animals an ocelot called Billy and watched as he ate his chicken filled pumpkin!... a we had time with a keeper for over an hour and chatted with the big cat keepers too as my daughter loves all the big cats! so she had many questions for them. which they dutifully answered with such passion and enthusiasm that we really felt their love of the animals. We got up close and stroked (with supervision) a large snake and bearded dragons .. we must thank Miles for his knowledge and his patience and fascinating facts. we all enjoyed his time with us. We must also thank all the staff in the park for their compassion and care and total understanding for our daughter and her difficulties. We went through to see the woods which was really sweet too and I found it very relaxing. we were able to push our wheelchair around the whole park without any issues (even the wooded bits) .
We had lunch at Sam's Diner, which although wasn't my type of food it was tasty, well cooked and quite fine ... if not too many chips!.. (daddy and our daughter quite liked this though). Reasonably priced for the food we had too considering we were in a zoo. Everywhere we had refreshments they made great tea and coffee... even the little stalls which for me is an added bonus!. and great hot chocolate too according to my daughter.
The animals were all happily doing their own things and we saw lots of pumpkin fun as the animals were in playful form and it was halloween. We had the most superb day and it's one we won't forget.

went with my husband for a day out, thought the zoo lay out was well planned and easy for families to get around in. The zoo felt a little compact as it was all very close together but was not as issue as we got to visit the monkeys and the lions multiple times.

We had the chance of getting up close to the lion in a small feeding area and staff told us about his history and relationships with the the other lions, was really nice hearing this.

The cafe has great views of the lions den so worth a visit for a coffee.

parking was fine

we bought our tickets online to get the advance rate discount.

This park appeared to be linked to the WHF facility in Kent which I have visited more than once and is more geared to animal conservation. This park is just a muddle of amusements and noise geared to children (to be fair it was half term) but the animals just seemed to be secondary to the rest of the very noisy pursuits in the grounds. The animals were in what appeared to be very small enclosures and looked very stressed pacing the perimeters. I am sorry but I don't think this is right in this day and age. Please rethink this form of "side show" and consider the animals wellbeing.
