Paradise Wildlife Park is one of may favourite places to spend the day. I've been going regularly for many years now, to the point I'm on a first name basis with most of the animals! This is not a place just to take your children, animal lovers of all ages will absolutely enjoy it, walking around the immaculate gardens (or the woodland!) while having the opportunity to encounter fabulous creatures, from birds, big cats, primates, farm animals, reindeer, wolves, reptiles, the range is impressive. Some can be fed with the food sold at the entrance or if you're feeling adventurous you can book an animals experience and feed meerkats, tapirs, penguins or even the extremely handsome tigers and lions! My main focus, personally, is animal photography and I have been lucky enough to capture some incredible shots. The park is not gigantic so you can see all the animals without collapsing from exhaustion. For the little ones there's soft play area, a big playground, train and tractor rides and a swimming pool during summer, also two cafes and a restaurant. For added interest for motor sports fans, they house the Speedway Museum. Make sure to watch the animals feeds and talks that happen throughout the day, the keepers are all very knowledgeable, extremely nice and they love to talk about their animals. I find specially helpful they provide a mini bus going from Broxbourne train station to the Park so even non-drivers like myself can enjoy the day out. To be absolutely honest is not cheap specially for families, but they accept Tesco vouchers and discounts and special promotions are available. I believe recently they've made overnight accommodation at the zoo itself available so if you come from a distant area it's worth to check it out.

I absolutely loved visiting Paradise Wildlife Park! I've been coming since I was very little and still do now at 21 years old! I adore the Big Cats you have as I have a huge passion for them, Lions in particular! I also love the variety of animals that you have to show at the park, from the massive Big Cats and Birds of Prey to the cute and furry little Guinea Pigs and Rabbits! The staff are all friendly and helpful and the park is kept clean constantly. I also had a 'Feed A Big Cat' experience for my birthday which was amazing! Something I will never forget!

I also love that you also have the Crazy Golf etc, as I come with my family it's always fun!

I would 100% recommend to anyone! :)

I love this place, its a brilliant day out for big & small people, lots to do & see with animals you don't see at other zoos or farms. Value for money, shows are entertaining & really involve the audience, amazing seeing the big cats being fed & really big play areas for the kids, indoors & out, cute little train ride & the splash pool is a real bonus on a hot day & something other places don't have. I always highly recommend here to friends & family as you will miss out if you don't go!!

I visited here with my wife after she had bought me an animal experience. I was to meet the meerkats! I thought I'd be able to touch them a little and take some quick photos but it was so much better. The staff member led me through and we sat in the outdoor enclosure, where I sat with a food bowl on my lap. My wife was a few feet away over the low wall taking plenty of photos and wishes she'd booked herself in too. The clambered all over my lap and were great to watch.
We like the whole park as they have a good selection of animals. Our satnav takes us a fairly wild route to get there but it's in a nice location. It can get a bit loud in school holidays I think, as there was a lot for young children to do. Certainly book yourself an animal encounter as watching some others being done they looked amazing.

Paradise wildlife park is a zoo which we visit on a regular basis, the zoo is a good place for all ages, we have taken many family members there and have treated them to various experiences which they loved and would love to do again, such as the meerkat and lemur experiences, we also treated ourselves to many of these including cuddling the little white lion cub, which I cannot put into words how wonderful it was. The staff are all very friendly, chatty and always willing to answer any questions you may have. Also the catering staff are good, the food is brilliant and the service is fast, the canteen is kept clean. The park is very accessible, good views of all animals, they all seem very happy and content. The gift shop is stocked well and I am very happy that you do not have to exit via the gift shop which sometimes can be a problem if you have children who do not understand why they cant buy all the lovely things..
There are plenty of little shows which are not too long to keep everyone amused
on the whole paradise is a place which should be on everyones list

Well what can I say..I love it,the kids love it everyone I know loves it here,it is simply the best place in England to get up so close to worlds most endangered animals, the animals they have here are unbelievable and are the only park to have all of the big cats which is sensational when you are only on the other side of the fence /glass to these animals,on my most recent visit I have never ever felt so amazed and it gave me butterflies to hear their white male lion moot roar it made the floor vibra're and it is a feeling I will never forget, the staff too are amazing the love and affection that they have for these animals is unbelievable and you can see how much the animals lI've their keepers too.The park is very clean, well signposted and lots of places to eat and drink,it is even a great place to visit in the rain as they have indoor play areas and also a reptile house and rainforest house which is undercover so there is always something to do.I would recommend this place anyway of the week and it's reasonable entry price makes it even better,a great day which would be enjoyed by all!!

This zoo is clearly a great experience for children, it has a play park and petting zoo as well as the animals but I love this Zoo as an adult who has no children! I go with my friends who photograph the wildlife. The enclosures here are great, they are large and well thought out, they have glass windows to make it easier to see and photograph the animals. One of my favourite animals to watch are the otters who get excited (about food I assume!) every time they see a zoo keeper walk past, or as we discovered last time anyone with a dark green top on. They have talks on throughout the day for you to learn a bit more about the animals and to see them being fed. You can also do animal experience days. This isn't a massive park but you can see that the animals have a good relationship with the staff and can hear that they are passionate about conservation, and know a lot about the animals in their care. They have a good collection of big cats and my other favourites are the racoons, red pandas and the wolves. Great place to go back to again and again.

I have visited Paradise several times over the past 20 years with my niece and nephew and now i have a small son of my own i returned with him earlier this year, its as good as it always has been and the minute we start talking about going we all remember 'bunny town' straight away!
From the tiny monkey's and the gorgeous sloth in the noctural house, so the amazing lions and tigers - its a great day out. My favourite always has been the Tapiers and the addition of the Gibbons is great too.
I am returning for a visit next week with my son as he adores all kinds of animals and had a great day out looking at them last time, and fell in love with the Ring-tailed Lemurs.... a cuddly one from the shop is now a bedtime pal!!
The toilets and facilities were very clean at all stages of the day, and the park is lovely and tidy.
As always - you can spend alot of money at these places (food, snacks etc) - but the entry prices are fair i think it is well worth it and im looking forward to our next visit.

I love PWP. For a small-ish venue (compared to the likes of Whipsnade) it has a lot of interesting animals, particularly big cats. The parking is free, which is unusual these days. Everything is walkable, and for those with kids, there are plenty of extra activities. The keepers are approachable and knowledgable.

Paradise Wildlife Park is a really lovely day out, although the zoo is quite small there is so much to see! The enclosures and surrounding areas are kept to a beautiful standard and all the animals seem really relaxed which is not the case in all zoos. Very child friendly with lots of play and seating areas.
Paradise also offer an amazing number of experiences, my boyfriend and I have done the Meet the Monkeys and Feed the Red Pandas experiences and loved them both. The experiences are quite pricey and have to be booked well in advance but in my opinion they are worth it. You get a chance to learn about the animals from the very experienced keepers and you even get a t-shirt and certificate at the end!

I visited the park with my sister and our children who are 9 and 4.. And they had the best day! Fortunately we are live very close by and I exchanged my club card vouchers for tickets so really turned out to be a reasonable day cost wise especially as we took a picnic. The play parks and paddling pool (which was closed but we have used previously) is great on a hot day, as is the indoor play area on a cold day! Not to mention all the different animals to see. My little one esp loves the farm yard where she could stroke and feed the animals. The big cat feed and reptile shows are well worth a look as well. Will def be going back and would recommend this to anyone who wants a fun varied day out with the kids.

Make time to watch the penguins & their keeper talk. We all giggled watching, as they nudged eachother towards jumping in.

The while lions were a real delight to watch too, as the baby one keep teasing the females.

The bird talk is wonderful, seeing the owl & parrot swoop right by you!

Lastly the splash pool, mini tractors & go-karts are GREAT additions.

We (me, son, and grandparents)went bank holiday Monday it was very busy but so much to do it didn't feel crowded. My son loves the playgrounds and the magicians show. All the animals are in good sized enclosures and seem happy. My favourites are the white tigers. We go a couple of times a year depending on the weather and this was first time we used the splash pool which was clean and had lots of seating for adults!you can go for a couple hours or the whole day!

My friend and I visited Paradise Wildlife Park in summer and it was great. We saw a variety of animals that were out and about, especially the otters that were queueing up to have their photos taken. We had a chat with a white bird (although I think we were more chatty than him.) I will definitely return to the Park.

I've been to Paradise park 3 times now in the past 3 years and it's always brilliant.

Big cats are always a big crowd puller, and Paradise has more than anyone in the area, from White Lions, White Tigers, Leopards, Snow Leopards and so on,

Another benefit is it's quite compact, you can quickly dart from enclosure to enclosure throughout the day, meaning you rarely miss anything exciting and this really helps get to the Scheduled Talks and feeding times.

Highly recommended for absolutely everyone who enjoys their Zoo visits

We visited Paradise Wildlife Park on bank holiday Monday, wow !!! what a fantastic day out.
My Daughter who is 6 had a brilliant time, lots to see for all ages, she did get bored of looking at animals at one point so we went to 2 different play areas then we found the hidden lagoon !!! we stayed there and had lunch while my daughter had a splash around. for family entertainment 10/10. helpful staff 10/10. car parking 11/10 (there's loads) and for general overall experience a definite 10/10. can't wait to come back !!!!

I shadowed a big cat keeper for the second time on Sunday 25th August 2013, I didn't think it could get any better but it was as I also got to spend some time with the wolves as well this time which was a unexpected bonus. The park has grown over the years and the big cat collection is amazing, the keepers are very knowledgeable, polite, friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for me, wish I could do it every day. The park is doing amazing things raising money for cat conservation, my family go there regularly.

I've been to Paradise with different people before - my Mum, boyfriend, niece and family and each time i've never been disappointed.

You can have a leisurely stroll around all day and see many different types of animals, including information time and feeding times to get up close and personal with them.

I went recently when the baby white lion cub was still indoors with it's Mum and fell head over heels, how adorable is this little one?!

Also a big fan of the red pandas, so glad to see that they've had little ones and can't wait to return to see the new ones.

I had lunch overlooking the gorgeous tiger enclosure, it was just me and Mum the whole time so we had a great time taking photos and just watching every move going on inside the enclosure.

Living local, in Hertford, having a wildlife park of this kind so close by is an added bonus, Congrats Paradise for everything that you do!!

Lots of other animals too-tapir, wolves, red pandas, camels, deer, wallabies, zebra, birds of prey & many more wonderful animals. We visited about ten days ago and had a wonderful time, there is so much to do for adults and children and its great value, I love the fact that once you have paid to go in there aren't lots of hidden charges, the inflatable slide, bouncy castle- all free! Free parking too.
The playpark has so much variety, and the indoor play area is great, clean etc.
the animals are varied and you don't expect to see lions, tigers, penguins, camels and others in Broxbourne!
Can't wait to visit again, probably next year...
