The countdown to Christmas officially began in Hertford over the weekend with an extremely successful Christmas Gala in the town centre on Friday and the Hertford Castle Christmas Market from Friday to Sunday.
The Winning Windows Competition has now opened, and all of Hertford’s traders are invited to enter. The theme this year is ‘Merry & Bright’. It is hoped the competition will bring Christmas cheer to the town centre and encourage the community to support the local traders at this important time of year.

This year, the annual Hertford Christmas Gala will take place in the town centre on Friday 25th November and the Hertford Castle Christmas Market will run across the whole weekend from Friday 25h to Sunday 27th November.
