Siobhan, one of the nurses at Chestnut Vets, has recently set up some dates for puppy parties at the practice in Hoe Lane, Ware. The parties allow puppies of similar ages to mix and socialise, whilst owners have the chance to chat to qualified veterinary nurses.
Often a visit to the vets results in dogs being anxious as they are examined and have injections, but these parties allow the puppies to experience positive associations with the veterinary surgery and the nurses.
These parties are free and offer a great opportunity for your puppy to socialise in a small group.
