Following the success of the Love Hertford Awards, the competition has returned for 2022 and public voting is now underway with our new name, the Hertford High Street Awards.
The competition recognises and commends traders in the county town of Hertfordshire, highlighting the wealth of shops, businesses and services on offer in our town centre and neighbourhood shopping areas, and encouraging residents to shop locally.
Hertford residents and locals are encouraged to vote for their favourite businesses to be crowned winners across ten categories.
The public can cast their votes at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/HERTFORDHIGHSTREETAWARDS
The closing date for voting is Sunday 6th of November at 8pm. The winners and finalists will be announced at an awards ceremony on 15th of November 2022.
Chairman of the Town Council Development and Leisure Committee, Councillor Jane Sartin said: “We are lucky to have a wealth of shops, places to eat and drink and services in Hertford’s town centre and neighbourhood shopping areas. It was a difficult task for the judging panel to whittle the entries down to the shortlist, and I’d encourage everyone to now vote for who they think should be award winners this year, and tell us why.”
