Welcome to the Hertford blog.
Love the idea or hate the idea, Sainsbury’s are coming to Hertford very soon and it seems they want to focus on the community as much as possible, which can only be a good thing.
So this is a call to give their campaign to find a budding artist a bit more exposure. Sainsbury’s will put up £10,000 for an art installation from a local artist.
The piece needs to be innovative with a lean towards environmental and historical ideas in the local area. Entries need to be submitted to East Herts Council by 12 noon on Monday 9th July latest. Please email will.o’neill@eastherts.gov.uk or call 01992 531594.
