We spoke to Tina from Herts Food Deliveries about why they set up the business.
"We have created this family business to try and give local people access to essential food and household items to which we will them deliver to your door. All items will be fairly priced and delivery will be on the same day if ordered before 7pm.
The idea came when I was in a cash and carry, stocking up for the Nursing Home`s shop in which I work. We considered that as Bob works in export and can therefore access wholesale produce, why not create a small business to aid the local community in what could be difficult times ahead.
The ethos of the business is to enable local people to be able to buy essential items either on-line or over the telephone and we will deliver them."
