The Chestnut Veterinary Group have been out and about once again, visiting local schools in Hertford and Ware, to get the students interested in animal care and the jobs that the vets and nurses do.
They visit local schools with a varied collection of the staff’s pets to speak to the students about the care involved in different species of pets, to speak about career choices and answer any questions. The students always have a great time and get very involved in the discussions about the different pets brought along and different aspects of veterinary work.
The vets and nurses that have been out to visit the local schools are very proud of the thank you cards and pictures drawn by the students, and relish in the enjoyment seen by the students in the time spent with them.
It’s great to see a local business engaging with the youth of Hertford, well done Chestnuts, long may it continue!
