This is the month when we find events, fete’s and fayres popping up like daisy’s in and around Hertford and Ware, here are some of them.
Standon Open Gardens Saturday 9th June 2018
Approximately 15 gardens will be open ranging from the Standon Lordship to small cottage gardens. There will be lunches and teas available and music will be a feature during the afternoon as well.
Buntingford Carnival Saturday 16th June
One day carnival with street market, around 100 stalls and entertainment.
Open from 9am till 6pm - Buntingford High Street.

Contance Lytton - Hertfordshire’s Suffragette Wednesday 20th June
A talk by Knebworth House Archivist Clare Fleck to commemorate 100 years of female suffrage; where she will explore the history of Hertfordshire’s most famous suffragette, Lady Constance Lytton.

Hertford Castle Carnival & Fun Day Sunday 24th June
This event is organised by Hertford Rotary Club in partnership with Hertford town Council.
St Elizabeth's Summer Fayre Saturday 30th June
St Elizabeth’s is the only national charity committed to providing high quality education, leisure and health care to children and adults of all ages with complex neurological conditions and learning disabilities.
The St Elizabeth’s Summer Fayre is one of the biggest local summer events of the year, with around 500 attendees enjoying a range of activities, stalls, foods, and fun.
If you are able to donate any voluntary assistance on the day or bake a cake for the cake stall please do get in touch with the organisers, your support of this fundraising event will be very much appreciated.
Calling all stallholders – For a 6 x 4 ft. they only require a donation of £20.00 to secure a stall. If you are interested in booking a stall for this event, please contact the organisers either by email: samuel.prow@stelizabeths.org.uk or call (Daytime Phone) 01279 844 355 for a stall booking form. The booking form needs to be completed and returned by the 15th of June.
Your fundraising contribution of a stall booking fee will go towards a range of projects which they are currently raising money for.
