Artist and writer Jenny Hawke (1954-2023) created a moving and thought-provoking series of watercolour paintings entitled One Friday. Her pictures depict the events of Holy Week, from Jesus’ betrayal up to his death and resurrection. They will be displaying large-format prints of these motifs at St Andrew’s Church during Holy Week. There will be an optional written reflection on each picture, or you can simply take in Jenny Hawke’s visual interpretations of the themes.
