Based in High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire in a quiet and convenient location, we offer a professional and confidential one to one counselling service to adults. Many of our clients come from High Wycombe, Marlow or Maidenhead, however we are open to clients from any geographical area.
Our team of counsellors offer you help to cope with and work through difficulties, and make positive changes in your life.
Whilst GPs may recommend some clients to contact us, anyone over 18 years of age is free to contact us independently.

Palliative Care & Lymphoedema Clinic.
South Bucks Hospice aims to provide a wide range of services free of charge to people with incurable illnesses, lymphoedema sufferers and those with chronic illnesses.
The provision of a hospice and clinic will help with pain and symptom control, provide expert palliative and clinical nursing care, and emotional and practical support.
This includes the provision of a personal counselling service to both the patient as well as to those supporting them, such as family and friends. We aim to provide the best possible quality of life and care wherever possible at the early, mid or late term stage of the end of life.

South Bucks Hospice’s aspiration is to be the leading community resource for providing palliative and lymphoedema care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and to support their families and carers. As people are living longer with their illness and its side effects, the importance of palliative and lymphoedema care is growing.
After many years of providing expert care from our current locations at Pusey House and Cedar Barn in High Wycombe, South Bucks Hospice has just embarked on an expansion plan that will have a major impact on the local community. The new state-of-the-art Community Hospice that we are building will allow us to bring together our two existing sites under one roof. The new Hospice will also allow us to continue to broaden the services that we offer and to reach more local people. South Bucks Hospice now owns the land on the site of the old Kingswood School and has received all planning permissions. The building work started in October 2015 and is scheduled to be complete by Spring 2017.

The Chief Instructor of South East Academy is Peter Edwards, 6th Dan Black Belt. Along with many National and International titles he is British, European and World Champion. Peter has been training in Martial arts for over 30 years and has been teaching the 'Art' for over 20 years. He has been an active member of the world respected W.A.K.O. GB team since 1986 and is now also the Chief Coach to the British Squad. His teaching has brought great success to many of his students.
The Classes are structured in a manner to build the ability and technique at a speed that is suitable for the individual. Instructors are taught to warm up all students thoroughly before commencing any techniques to prevent pulled muscles and injury.Time is spent on stretching muscles of the body to enable students to perform dynamic movements safely and effectively, and various exercises are used for full body conditioning to improve stamina, strength and co-ordination. Strike shields, focus pads, protective equipment and skipping ropes are regularly used in training sessions.
The South East Academy is well known on the the tournaments scene. Students who are interested in competing in tournaments are encouraged, but we do respect the wishes of students that do not wish to compete. SE Academy of Martial Arts has produced two World Champions, and multiple European and Domestic champions.
When students join the South East Academy, membership is for a life time. The price includes our popular black & red top quality club suit, and entitles students to train at any of the South East Academy classes, provided fees are up to date.
Included in the startup fee is a licence which is renewable anually. This enables the students to take recognisable grades and provides insurance which covers each student in the unlikely event that any harm may be caused to or by them.

In 2002 Alex and David had their own purpose built clinic constructed by Norwegian Log Buildings inspired by seeing their lodges at the Harleyford Estate. The clinic has 2 treatment rooms, a spacious waitng room for clients and on-site parking. It is situated in a peaceful location in Southview Road, about 1 mile from the town centre.
