With more than 60 years experience and seventeen residential and day centres across the United Kingdom, the FSC (Field Studies Council), is an independent educational charity and a leading provider of safe and enjoyable fieldwork activities.
Activities organised by friendly and professional tutors
Party room provided with table and colourful tablecloth, or picnic tables for fine weather
All tutors are trained in First Aid and all sites and activities are Risk Assessed
Activities run for 2 hours with half an hour for a birthday tea
All you need to prepare is the food and refreshments for the children.
Barnaby Bear (suitable for ages 5-7)
Explore the woods with Barnaby Bear, find out about his home and build a shelter for your bear. Bring a bear.
Pirates’ Treasure (suitable for ages 5-7)
Make a pirate hat and follow the clues to hunt for the pirates’ hidden treasure
Wild West Mop End (suitable for ages 5-7)
Follow the trail to round up your cattle, make a native american headdress and build a fort in the woods.
Squeak (suitable for ages 5-7)
See which mammals are living in the woods. Catch mammals using humane traps, make a mouse finger puppet and play fox and mouse.

Shipwrecked (suitable for ages 5-7)
Could you survive on a desert island? Make mini shelters, hunt for supplies and collect your water before the river dries up.
Minibeast Safari (suitable for all ages, 5 upwards)
Explore the woodland and pond and see what bugs you can find living there.
Woodland Adventure (suitable for ages 8 and upwards)
Find the map and follow the trail to the woods, then build a shelter and see if it is waterproof!
Birthday challenge (suitable for ages 8 and upwards)
Tackle the swamp, find your way around the maze, have a go at water balloon volleyball and play a wide game in the woods.
Junior Ranger (suitable for ages 8 and upwards)
