The Dogs Trust is the Uk’s largest dog rehoming charity, that cares for over 15,000 abondoned and stray dogs every year. Dogs Trust have 17 rehoming centres in the UK with the Harefield Charity centre being in the Hillingdon Borough.
Dogs Trust in Harefield, Uxbridge is open six days a week, closed on Mondays. They have 75 kennels that care for over 1,600 dogs every year.

Tea Rooms open at weekends and bank holidays. (All profits form the tearooms go towards thecare at the Dogs Trust).
Dogs Trust Charity aims to tackle the causes of stray dog problems through micro chipping initiatives and neutering campaigns.
As a Charitable Organisation Dogs Trust have a non destruction policy, so if the dog cannot be re-homed and cared for then they will provide a happy life for the dog at one of their charity centres.
They also work closely with children to educate them through the charity centres to show them the responsilbities of dog ownership and care. They provide free materials for schools to use for this purpose.
You can help with your local Dogs Trust charity by making a donation either through the website or at the charity centre. Donate Doggie treats through the centre also. Volunteer to help and care at the centre. Sponsor a dog so that you are actively helping improve the dog’s life. Provide re-homing for a dog at the centre.
