Improvments to Hillingdon's Libraries
You have probably noticed your local library having some improvments or even being closed for a complete refurbishment over the last couple of years. This has been for all 17 libraries in the Borough.
Five of the libraries have been renovated, with a larger, newer stock of books, extended opening hours and even cafes being introduced, bringing the libraries truelly up to date to 2010!!
I think the biggest improvement has been Ruislip Manor's Library. A complete renovation took place with a Starbucks thrown in for good measure. The libraries have noted an increase with residents using the facilities too.
Ruislip Manor Library has a dedicated Children's section, computers free to use and an adult education facility too.
