The British Parking Awards 2010 took place last friday 12th March in London and Hillingdon Council were chosen as the overall winner for the award.
They also won the innovation award for the work envolved with the launch of the Hillingdon First cards given to Hillingdon Borough residents entitling them to residential parking rates. They also won a award for the way they deal with parking permits and training for parking staff.
The overall award recognises excellence in the UK parking industry.
The British Parking Awards started in 2002.
