Ice Cream Vans banned in Hillingdon!!!
Well not quite but I thought I would write an article as I just heard 'Hillingdon' on the news!!
Hillingdon Council are banning Ice cream vans from trading outside of schools in a bid to discourage children from eating unhealthy foods, such as ice cream.
Ice cream traders have been warned if they are found parked outside schools they will have their vans impounded.
Traders will only be able to ice creams in residential streets.
Hillingdon council are enforcing these new rules to adhere to the new healthy eating regulations and also from various complaints from residents.
Obviously a great tradition in our country to get your ice cream from the 'ice cream van' but have we gone too far!!
