It’s good to get some coverage about this fantastic bestof initiative to promote local business. Hinckley is a great place to shop and do business with because we have some excellent and unique shops and organisations. My cry has always been "talk-it-up, not down". Local businesses need our support if they are to survive and grow.
In my mind, listening to local ‘naysayers’ will only achieve one thing, the loss of precious local resources and the loss of some of the enthusiastic local people trying their best to both earn a living and provide great service for us all! Our 14 Days of Love has been a really marvellous opportunity to shout about our local businesses and have some fun as we ‘show our love’ for them.
We all enjoy a bit of encouragement now and then plus word of mouth recommendation has always been one of the most powerful ways to find the business that you are looking for – our testimonials take this just a step further by opening up word-of-mouth to a much wider audience!
