Hinckley and Rugby Building Society had their BBC Children in Need day today, Friday 14th November 2008, and all the staff at the Castle Street branch were dressed in "Round the World" themed costumes! If you called into the branch today then you would probably have you been surprised to find yourself being served by a French, Indian, Mexican or even a Spanish lady!!!
To raise funds for the BBC Children in Need appeal the building society had a raffle with a range of prizes that included a food and a beauty hamper, a small Pudsey bear and a Pudsey key ring.
There was also a "travel" competition that required you to guess where Pudsey is in the world was so that you could win one of the prizes donated by Thomson - £50.00 off a holiday voucher, Co-op Travel - a mystery day trip for 2 and a day excursion with Bowens.
All the funds raised by Hinckley and Rugby Building Society through both the raffle and travel competition will go to BBC Children in Need.
