Emma Lovegrove of Rainbows and Marisa Spitari of LOROS who both gave detailed, informative and moving presentations about the work of the two charities attended the event. The money was raised through BNC donating the special guest's entire breakfast fee plus, further contributions from the money raised through a business card draw for a bottle of Champagne (donated by Roy Wood of St James's Place Wealth Management), an auction for the opportunity to speak for an extra 5 minutes about your business and a further bottle of Champagne (also donated by Roy Wood) for the speaker with the closest time during their one-minute presentation. Rob Abell of Will Planning Solutions won the Champagne, the extra 5 minutes went to our very own bestofhinckley business Priscilla Morris of Loud&Clear! and the one closest to the 1 minute was Claire Llewellyn, Financial Advisor and stockbroker for Edward Jones.
All-in-all a fun morning, well worth the early start, with a very serious objective - to raise money for local charities that was certainly achieved and on top of all that, some business done as well!
