Interesting meeting at the Hinckley Chamber of Trade (HCOT) last night with a good turn out and a new member - The Fields Health and Fitness Club. A lot of excitement and interest about the impact of the forthcoming vote for the Business Improvement District (BID) and we do need to clinch this and so if you haven't voted yet then get those ballot papers in - and vote YES. Lets get Hinckley town centre moving. Jonathan White from the Town Centre Partnership will be out there over the next couple of weeks trying his best to overcome any concerns but if nothing else, just think of the consequences of doing nothing - no change!
We announced our exciting bestof £5000 Christmas Prize Draw at the HCOT meeting and had some of our prize draw cards filled in there and then! These cards will be available from our bestofhinckley retailers shortly and we will be having a promotion in the Britannia Shopping centre on the 29th November when everyone can have a go. A local town win could bring a smile to someone's face, cheer up a few traders when they spend it and blow away the recession blues that appears to be so endemic at the moment.
