Over the past few months Jonathan White, the Business Development Manager for the Hinckley Town Centre Partnership, has been working to put together a programme of local business support that will bring cost saving opportunities for BID members. The programme will be launched during April 09 prior to the official lunch of the Business Improvement District in May of this year.
A newsletter will be distributed in the next few weeks that will provide further details of the Local Business Support programme. However, to help us to move forward with the cost saving initiatives Jonathan would really appreciate your views on this initiative.
The proposed cost saving schemes are based on a group discounts for BID members and could include savings on utilities, insurance, card processing, fuel, telecommunications and waste management. The more local businesses that participate the better the rates that we can negotiate and so do get in touch with Jonathan to find out more on 01455 890 054 or email jonathanwhite@hinckleytcp.co.uk
The BID is designed to support local businesses and encourage the local business community to work together for the benefit of all. Our goal is to provide BID members with real value for money and provide you with a tangible return against the BID levy. A number of BID members have already benefited directly from the support offered by the Town Centre Partnership/BID and have been guided through various grant applications. In most cases, the value of these grants have equated to the businesses BID levy
contribution for the year!
