The Hinckley ACT has a simple policy and that is to promote live music of a broad musical range locally in the Hinckley area. If we can encourage and support the musical careers of local talent and bring the enjoyment of music to Hinckley then our efforts may be described as well worth while.
Our next Hinckley ACT Concert on WEDNESDAY 10TH FEBRUARY features JAMIE ARKLESS, an accomplished guitarist, banjoist and singer and this is his first concert at Hinckley ACT! Experienced professionals like Mark Newman and Steve Hicks both rate Jamie so wish him good luck and please do invest £6.00 for non members or £5.00 for members Join us this Wednesday evening (Doors and Bar opens at 7.30pm) to see just how professional and entertaining Jamie really is.
After that our next concert is on SATURDAY 27 FEBRUARY and we see the re-scheduled (cancelled due to the bad weather) ISAMBARDE in concert at the Hinckley ACT. Within the last year ISAMBARDE have been invited to play alongside the likes of Phil Beer (Show of Hands), Dave Swarbrick and Fairport Convention. Tickets are selling well - don’t miss them - Non-members £9 and £8 for members.
We now have our programme of events set (see below), well as set as it can be when it comes to musicians, for the next three months to April 2010.
