Hinckley Speech & Drama Studio is enjoying yet another fabulous year of success for its students.
HSDS's ex-student – Lauren Daniels enjoyed great success this year in the hit television BBC1 show Over the Rainbow. Lauren has followed this by securing a West End part as ‘Sandy’ in ‘Grease’ at the Piccadilly Theatre. It will be Lauren’s first West End role and she is obviously over the moon about it (or should that be rainbow!)
Rehearsals for Grease begin this week and HSDS Principal - Priscilla Morris will be attending Lauren's first night on 26 July 2010 together with husband Stewart and daughter Debbie Cunningham.
This fantastic year of success for HSDS has continued with some incredible results for the Studio's students in this year’s Nuneaton Arts Festival. HSDS students have achieved a record number of places in the festival with more than 80 first, second and third places awarded to delighted Hinckley Speech & Drama Studio youngsters aged between 6 and 18.
After 3 days of tough examinations the students are now eagerly awaiting the summer holiday and the opportunity to attend another HSDS Summer School in August.
