The Bancroft Players

Established at the end of World War II, The Bancroft Players' home has been its own, purpose built venue, the Queen Mother Theatre. Members take part in productions, both on stage and behind the scenes, and run regular workshops throughout the year for members and the public, including:

Big Spirit (Youth Theatre)

Are you aged between 14 and 18? Would you to love to learn how to act and become part of one of the most acclaimed youth theatres in the country? The Big Spirit Youth Theatre was established in 1984 and has helped numerous young actors become more confident, learn the skills of performance and build a fun and diverse social life.

Big Spirit has presented many spectacular productions, including:

• Lord of the Flies
• Shakespeare's Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream
• Mother Courage
