If you've never been to Last Minute Comedy, held monthly at Woodside Hall in Walsworth Road, you really should give it a try.
Not for a family audience, it's true, but immensely funny and there's always a good crowd who appreciate the ribaldry.
This Friday sees host Paul B Edwards introducing the marvellous Junior Simpson and Kevin Shepherd. Not bad for a tenner (only £8 if you join up as a member).
We're lucky to have great theatre groups, fantastic musicians and gig venues in our town and Last Minute Comedy Club is a definite bonus. Get along if you can - sparkling comedy, a licensed bar and the chance to met up with friends.
