I spotted a Public Notice on the window of 13 Hermitage Road, which used to be the curtain shop.
Apparently, we're getting a Gelateria. That's an ice cream shop to you and me.
I have visions of rows of freezers with delicious ice cream flavours and tables and chairs for us to enjoy the delicacies. It's a big shop, so that's a lot of tasting to be done.
The notice was only posted this week, so there's time for anyone to complain to NHDC before 20 April. On your own head be it!
After all, there's plenty of places for tea and coffee in the town and not many to enjoy an ice cream when it gets hot!
