Bancroft Gardens remains a controversial topic of discussion in Hitchin.
The last series of consultations online and in person produced insights for BDP, consultants appointed to redevelop the part. Now they've formulated new plans and are seeking everyone's views.
At the end of Bancroft nearest The Victoria pub, Bancroft Gardens houses a popular tennis club, which has its own views on the potential development.
There's potential to improve this part of town and bring people away from the main town centre and past some thriving and interesting businesses on Bancroft.
