Fancy something a little more highbrow (or maybe not)? Try May Day at the British Schools Museum, 10:30 to 12:30 on 4 May.
Then there's a Gala Day on the Market Place and through the town with stalls and apparently a real maypole! That's 10am to 4pm, also on Monday.
