Whether we're in business, working or living in Hitchin, we can all have a say in how the town is run. But there's no point in doing it unless we're properly informed.
Right now, there are decisions being made by our local council about Churchgate in particular. This is a huge development right in the centre of town and it's another complex issue, so find out what's being said by whom. There's a big council meeting happening on 1 November and if they're to properly represent all of us, anyone with strong views should make representations to their councillors.

Meanwhile, there's just over two weeks until we're all supposed to be voting for our Police and Crime Commissioners. Until now, it's been hard to find out who's standing and what they're standing for, but now the information is available.
