There certainly was a buzz in the room at Doughty's Brasserie with 57 people from all different businesses coming together with one thing in common - to meet new people and get more business.
There is no doubt that networking does help you move your business forward. Some people are natural networkers, others hate it but feel it is a necessary part of what they do to excel in businesses. Some won't do it full stop.
I do agree that it is more beneficial for some businesses than others but my opinion, it is something that businesses should try.
The benefit of coming along to thebestofhitchin networking events is that they are relaxed, friendly and unpressurised. Ideal if you hate networking but also suited to the hardened networker who is used to standing up and talking about their businesses.
