I have been a member of The Women In Business Network (WIBN) for almost 5 years now and running the Hitchin group for almost 3. When we first started thebestofhitchin I was looking for a group in the area to attend and luckily the Hitchin group was launching at the same time!
I had never run my own business before and never been along to any type of networking so to say that I was nervous was an understatement! And I'm sure there are many people who feel that same as I did.
It takes effort and a certain amount of guts to be able to walk through a door into a room full of people you don't know!
I can say with hand on heart that The Women In Business Network is an extremely supportive, friendly and business driven organisation and is WELL worth going along to for a visit.
There are 3 groups in the local area, Hitchin which meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at The Sun Hotel, Stevenage on the 2nd Wednesday of each month held at Ramada Cromwell and a new group for Letchworth/Baldock which is launching on 9th February at The Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living and will meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
