Whoever dreamt up the idea of Buskers' Day deserves a medal. Pitches set up around the town gave a mini stage to many of our talented musicians throughout the course of Saturday.
Musical brilliance.
Then there was Bucklersbury Day, with the street closed for more music, games, food and drink through the afternoon and into the evening.
It was great to see so many people out and about, enjoying the fun.
There were even charity stalls in the Market Place, showing off the work of so many volunteers around the town.
A great day to show off what our town does so brilliantly. And even the rain held off for the day!
Writer and sax player. Brought up in Hitchin and - apart from uni and some ensuing madness of life in London - I've always lived here.
