Garden House Hospice serves the communities of Letchworth, Baldock, Royston, Hitchin, Stevenage and surrounding villages for people, and their families, who are diagnosed with a life limiting illness. To keep the doors open they have to raise in excess of 1 million pounds each and every year.
In 2009 they held their first ever-sponsored walk at Midnight. The Hospice received tremendous support from local businesses in helping to make this exciting event happen which successfully raised much-needed funds.
The Starlight Walk 2010 is on 4th September and they hope to make it bigger and better this year. At midnight 800 ladies will be taking part in a sponsored walk around Letchworth and Hitchin ‘circling the Hospice with support’
The Hospice are looking for support from local companies this year to help them raise much needed money to continue the work of the hospice.
