With Halloween a dim and distant memory and Bonfire night on the horizon, it really is time to start planning those Christmas meals out with colleagues, friends or family.
We've taken a look at what's on offer in and around Hitchin and it's probably wise to book soon.
Follow our links and do't forget to tell them you found them on The Best of Hitchin and leave a testimonial to thank them: http://www.thebestof.co.uk/local/hitchin/recommend
Newly refurbished is The Victoria pub on Bancroft. Run by Victoria Kevans, you'll always get a friendly welcome and the home-cooked food is worth a visit. There are always plenty of events on and they deck their barn out for xmas parties.
The Radcliffe on Walsworth Road is another great venue that offers delicious food year round and something extra special at Christmas. They also have a private room upstairs for parties or xmas gatherings.
There are delicious dinners and parties planned in the beautiful surroundings of Hitchin Priory. We all pass it all the time, so why not give it a try for that special occasion this Christmas?
Also on Bancroft, just along from The Victoria, is Roberto's Italian. You might not immediately think of Italian food for Christmas, but their festive menu has plenty to offer everyone, with a nice blend of traditional British and Italian food.
Venturing a little further afield into Little Wymondley, don't forget about the charming Redcoats Farmhouse . It offers plenty of choice for delicious December dining and always provides great service, too and for that romantic extra, you can book into one of their rooms and make a weekend of it.
If your business is looking to host its own event, remember the team at Clockhouse Catering. They will even come and cater for that special event in your own home. So keep the slippers on and let someone else do the hard work!
Whatever you choose for your Christmas celebrations, remember to keep it local - why go any further than Hitchin with such great venues? And remember to leave a testimonial on The Best of Hitchin so everyone else can enjoy great food and great service.
