Alongside the fire engine, motorbike, police car and various stalls, a demonstration of howcares are cut up to rescue people caused great interest from adults and children alike.
With important messages about staying safe, both police and fire personnel engaged with the public. A stall fmour team of Community First Responders told people about the work they do with the ambulance crews. They even managed to get a few potential volunteers to join their team.
Children queued to climb aboard the fire engine, while parents enjoyed the sight of both police and fire motor bikes.
The sun shone for the event and important messages were shared in a friendly and informative environment. Through the day, the centre-piece car was gradually cut up using the strong yet delicate equipment the fire team had on display - and even got members of the public using it to move eggs!
