Fashion shows off in Hitchin
Just two weeks to go before the 2012 Hitchin Fashion Show.
Saturday 28 April sees the catwalk hit the Market Square, with, Hitchin Fashion Show starting at noon. Fourteen stores are taking part to show the very best in store for this season.
A specially-constructed catwalk will see models – mostly local talent – showing off everything from underwear to vintage, mother of the bride to menswear. Even better – these are all independent stores situated in Hitchin itself.
Sarah, of ‘What Sarah did…’ fame, said: “The fashion show is a great insight into what we have to offer here in the Hitchin, as well as the support we give each other, from local shops to local shoppers.
“The Fashion Show is a free event and we’re aiming to bring the best in fashion to all our customers, while raising the profile of our stores and continue the great work being done here in Hitchin to encourage everyone to Shop Local!”

In previous years, this has been a great event, with lots of people enjoying the spectacle as well as getting ideas for what to wear in coming months. No doubt 2012 will be another Hitchin Fashion Show to remember.
