There's a new process beginning to build a prospectus for renewing Hitchin BID (Business Improvement District) next year.
On Tuesday 17 September from 8am until 7pm, you'll be able to see the benefits that a renewed BID might bring to the town.
So far, in the last five years Hitchin BID has contributed to the way our town works with:
Town Rangers; evening economy marshalls; expanded CCTV coverage; enhanced Shopwatch and Pubwatch schemes; trade waste recyclingl deep cleaning of payments; Christmas lights; and so much more.
If you're one of the thousands of people who've enjoyed some extra special events - Fashion Shows, Creative Kitchen, Hitchin Festival, Buskers Day and Independents Day - then you might want to see what the exhibition offers and give your own input.
