Over 1000 people basked in the gloriously hot weather in Hitchin Market Square on Sunday (26th June) at Hitchin Christian Centre's "Party in the Square" event. The Bedford-Road-based church put on the this free street party as part of their 30th anniversary celebrations. The party included live music from local artists James Christie, Don Court & Mash Market as well as the HCC choir; a free barbecue, inflatables, face painting, cake decorating and games.
