More than 30 stalls are specially erected on the last Saturday of every month around the side of St Mary's Church and next to the river. All sorts of crafts and foodie delights are on offer - all from people who live or produce within 30 miles of Hitchin.
Today's event was bathed in sunshine and the stalls offered everything from bread and chees to street food and meat. Crafts included cards, frames and furniture.
All in all, a delight to behold and a nice event to complement the existing traditional market.
Put the date in your diaries and get along on Saturday 26 April. If the food, crafts and weather are anything like today, it'll be well worth a visit.
