Hitchin Town Action Group - ideas for improvements

Nearly 80 people turned out for the launch of the Hitchin Town Action Group on 16 October and a huge number of responses to topics of interest to residents and businesses were covered.

The topics raised included shopping and services, arts, leisure and recreation, historic environment and tourism transport and various specific locations within the town.

Feedback for each topic will be available at http://www.hitchin.co.uk/

The organisers have begun to draw some conclusions for next steps and will present these at Hitchin Committee for discussion with Councillors on 12 November at 7.30 at Westmill Community Centre, John Barker Place.

Everyone is welcome - the aim is then to focus on a few key actions.
