Now a firm fixture in the Town’s social calendar the Hitchin Wine and Food Festival takes place this year on Saturday 24th November 2012. This is our 4th year and we think our best ever!
Hitchin Tilehouse Rotary are delighted that this year we are holding the event in two fantastic venues. The thriving Market Place, right in the heart of Hitchin, where you can wander amongst our colourful gazebos, and enjoy the sights and smells of the delicious food. Exhibitors cooking will tempt the taste buds and invite you to explore the delights of freshly prepared culinary masterpieces, washed down with some fine ale from our local brewery.
The Sun Hotel, a gorgeous venue close to the bustling market place, where 12 independent wine merchants will offer over 60 wines from around the world all under one roof.
This year we are bigger and better than ever, we have more experts on hand to share their experiences and love of wine and they are offering an amazing programme of winetasting master classes.

Last year approximately 1000 people attended the event and we are anticipating increased numbers this year as we continue to promote the Festival throughout North Herts, South Beds and beyond. The fine wines and beautiful food we have on offer will kick start your Christmas shopping; who wouldn’t be impressed with locally sourced gifts?
Every single penny of profit goes towards Rotary projects supported by The Rotary Club of Hitchin Tilehouse (we’re the noisy mob often found on Hitchin Market Place on a Saturday). In the past 12 months the Hitchin and wider community have helped us raise the money to support local, national and international projects and charities.
